Oh my gosh, I absolutely loved this movie! When I saw previews, I oddly wanted to see it, and was so glad I did! The characters will get you smiling, the choreography will get you wanting to move, and the music will get you tapping your foot in time. It was so great! I'd love to see it again, and can't wait 'till it comes out on DVD!! Definently not something to miss!

John Travolta steals every scene he is in. He was so good and so cute as Edna we laughed out loud (with delight)many times during his scenes.

I was very disappointed ... NOT worth my time nor my $ to sit thru this movie. TWO THUMBS DOWN and believe me I love John but not in this @ all!

My girls and I saw Hairspray this weekend. To say some of the songs have 'mild' sexual lines is a little understatement, but if you can get past that, this movie is great. We were all dancing in our seats and came home to download some of the 'good' music. We will probably see it again when it comes out on DVD.

I saw the first version many moons ago and figured my daughter wouldn't want to see this. To my surprise, she did and she loved it!
