This is a stellar entry in the Pixar canon. A movie that sells a great message without preaching; that entertains without sinking to constant f*rt jokes; and that makes me feel like I'm reliving my vacations in Paris. (I didn't see any rats and I'm kinda glad, 'cause I doubt the real deals would be so talented.)
Can't wait to see this one, and our girls are really pretty far beyond animated films at this point. However, they love Pixar, too, and this one looks like a winner. Glad to hear it's getting a thumbs up!
I loved, loved, loved this movie. Truly hilarious, touching and visually pleasing -- but that's just a given with these Pixar guys. And the kid was so enamored with Remy she now wants a rat!
We took our kids (5- and 2-years old) to see it last night. They loved it. Even though there was a lot that went over their little heads, they understood that a rat cooking in a kitchen is funny stuff. There was a couple, without kids, sitting behind us laughing louder than anyone. Another Pixar winner in my book!
