More Info on Hannah Montana: The Movie

The Story: In theory, Hannah Montana is supposed to share equal time with her alter ego, Miley Stewart. But in practice, Hannah is taking over. Concerts, promotional events, and fleeing tabloid journalists have left Miley/Hannah on the outs with family and friends and -- after an unfortunate shoe incident in a posh boutique -- Miley's dad whisks her back home to Tennessee. Miley shelves the Hannah construction kit -- wig, sparkles, makeup -- and attempts what her dad calls "Hannah Detox." It takes a while, but with the help of a cute cowboy, Miley discovers she likes the simple life, taking up the cause of saving the bucolic town from the bulldozers of an evil developer, and pondering whether it's possible to continue being both rock star and ordinary girl.
