More Info on HSM 3: Senior Year

The Story: Senior year, and the Wildcats are back in school. College looms for the group, with Troy and Chad (Zac Efron and Corbin Bleu) heading to play basketball at AU, Gabriella (Vanessa Hudgens) looking at Stanford, Taylor (Monique Coleman) going to Yale and Sharpay and Ryan (Ashley Tisdale and Lucas Grabeel) planning their futures on the stage. But change and separation from friends loom large, and unexpected choices challenge the soon-to-be graduates to come to terms with their futures, all the while planning for their final high school musical as East High Wildcats.

Good If You Liked: High School Musical, High School Musical 2, Hairspray, Grease

Heads Up: Not much. The movie's one and only kiss (only the second smooch in the entire HSM franchise!) netted equal parts wistful sighs (tweens) and embarrassed giggles (school-age). One scene, in which Troy and Chad steal some younger students' clothes and then lead the underclassmen on a chase through the hallways wearing nothing but towels, struck some people as hazing.
