# 5 of 5:   Why education is more than reading, writing, and arithmetic

Jill's lifelong focus has been on education. She explains, "As a mother as well as a teacher, I would add that education is not just about reading, writing, and arithmetic -- it's about teaching our children how to keep themselves healthy. So, my focus would include teaching about health issues like obesity, the dangers of smoking, and educating young girls about breast cancer and the importance of self exams."

Jill has been politely quiet. Her attitude is demure. I like her. I am glad that the Bidens are a part of the White House Family. I am sure did not come this far without being a benefit to the U.S.A. Welcome Mrs. Biden!
