While both Britney Spears and younger sister Jamie Lynn have had their share of troubles, few argue that the sisters have been there for one another at their most challenging moments. Spears first appeared on national television as a contestant on Star Search in 1992 and went on to star on the television series The New Mickey Mouse Club. Her first album, Baby One More Time, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, establishing her as one of this millennium's most influential teenage pop icons. Jamie Lynn played a younger version of Britney in the songstress's feature film debut, Crossroads. The younger actress went on to appear on the show All That, later landing the lead role on Nickelodeon's popular Zoey 101. While Britney attempts to re-build her career after a very public custody battle, Jamie Lynn has stepped out of the spotlight to confront the challenges of teenage motherhood.
