These celebrity sisters share more than just family -- they share fame.

Jessica Simpson and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz
# 1 of 12:  Jessica Simpson and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz

Though they share musical superstardom, a controlling manager father, and some suspiciously ever-changing facial features, Jessica and Ashlee's lifestyle paths have visibly diverged. While older sister Jessica married young, divorced quickly and dates serially, pregnant newlywed Ashlee has settled into domestic bliss with rock star Pete Wentz. It was Jessica who first emerged on the pop scene with the 1998 release of her debut album, Sweet Kisses. She later starred in the reality show Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica with then-husband Nick Lachey, memorably mistaking Chicken-of-the-Sea for a poultry product. Ashlee worked as a back-up dancer for Jessica until the debut of The Ashlee Simpson Show, chronicling the production and release of her first album, Autobiography. Not to be outdone by her older sis, Ashlee's most embarrassing TV moment was a lip-synching mishap on Saturday Night Live.

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz on sisterhood: "I leaned on Jessica a lot this year ... I would call her up and be like, 'Help me out.' She's been through it all, and she was so supportive."

Next: Paris Hilton and Nicky Hilton
