13 Not-So-Scary Movies for Halloween
And...what about Disney's Legend of Sleepy Hollow cartoon! That's a great one! I watch it with my now 21-year old daughter every Halloween. Gotta love Disney!

Has everyone forgotten about The Legend of Sleepy Hollow starring Jeff Goldblum released in 1988. Now that is an American classic! And the remake Sleepy Hollow with Johnny Depp was good too.

What about my favorite, the old Don Knotts movie, "The Ghost and Mr. Chicken"? I watch it almost every Halloween.

we love wallace and gromit!!!! and my girl loves tower of terror and the nancy drew movies- the old, old ones!!!!

Our annual favorite is the Tower of Terror movie with Steve Guttenberg!! We never get tired of watching it!

How about the "Boo to You Too! Winnie the Pooh" (1996?) and the "Winniw the Pooh Seasons of Giving" (1999?). Both my girls love these and watch them every year several times - they have wonderful messages for children and great animation!! The Seasons of Giving is our favorite - although it is about Thanksgiving, there is a "scary" search for wild turkeys!!

What about maybe Hocus Pocus. My daughter & I love that one too.

Not a bad list, but I would add the Halloweentown Series by Disney

I love so many of these movies, and hope to share them with my daughters when they're older. Ghostbusters is a classic! For the really little ones, there's also a Backyardigans ghost special that is fun and not scary.
