My Dog's Costume
This costume was inspired by an annual Halloween event for hospitalized kids. Our medical school hosts this event every year at the childrens hospital to ensure that no child is left out of the fun Halloween festivities. We have the privilege to dress up the kids at the hospital and take them trick or treating at different stations on their floor. A lot of the donated costumes were little princess costumes, so I came up with the idea of making Tiki, my sheltie/volunteer therapy dog, a noble stallion costume to match them. We tested the costume out at a few nursing homes or doggie events and it was well received. He doesnt mind wearing this silly get-up because he knows it will bring lots of attention and smiles every time he wears it. He actually prances like a little stallion whenever its on!

Contest Tips & Guidelines
