Calling the plant where your local newspaper is published can often garner you the ends of the newspaper rolls -- free! And many times, there is quite a bit of usable paper left on the ends!

You can also check to see if there is a freecycle group in your area. You can post a "wanted" email for the supplies you are looking for and possibly get them free! Check out www.freecycle.org!

Great tips. I get a lot of use out of my Jo-Ann's coupons each week. Also, try asking family members. It's amazing the kinds of craft supplies grandmothers hang onto.
