Here's My Great Green Idea!

We are all concerned about energy usage and the impact our efforts to conserve are having on our carbon footprint. With fluxuating home energy and water bills, it can be tough to see the progress you are making over time. Try building a little spreadsheet on your home computer or otherwise tracking your monthly utility bills for killowats of electricity used, therms of natural gas used and gallons of water used. I now have four years of data and it's been a real eye opener as to what is making an impact. It also give me data that I can use to compare to utility useage averages for my region, so I know how I am doing in my efforts to get green.
