Here's My Great Green Idea!

Over the past year, our family has become more educated in ways to become more eco- friendly. We have done our share within our household to go green- from changing to compact florescent light bulbs to using "green" cleaning products and utilizing reusable cloth bags for our shopping trips. One of the areas that our family has enjoyed going green the most is with our new way of gift giving. We have decided to give gifts that support endangered species and conservation programs through non-profit agencies. By "adopting" an animal you can help save that animal from extinction and support conservation efforts to rebuild our global world. Our family has adopted a manatee and an elephant for our family and friends. They loved receiving their photo, stuffed animal and certificate of "adoption" and most of all, knowing they were supporting something positive for our world. This is a great "green" gift for all animal lovers. We are trying to help save the world's animals and the environment that they live in through the conservation of our world. This fun idea begins in our home and extends to rebuild an eco-friendly world.
