Great Cake Contest

I made this cake for my daughter's first birthday, but it would be great for a baby shower as well. Add smiley faces on the peas for extra effect.

RECIPE INGREDIENTS:

• Favorite cake mix
• Green frosting
• Green fabric (approximately 1 yard)
• Green ribbon
• Green pipecleaners

1. Bake cake in cupcake tins. Cool and frost with green frosting.

2. Cut a strip of green fabric and place 3 to 5 cupcakes (or as many as you like) in a row along the center line. To create the pea pod, pull the ends of the fabric and cinch with green ribbon.

3. Take some green pipecleaners and twist them into curls. Push the pipecleaners into the pea pod ends to look like stems. Repeat with the remaining cupcakes.
