Miniature surfboard cakes that can be used for a luau party.
1 box cake mix with ingrediants to make that cake
1/2 c. crisco
1/2 c. margarine
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
5 c. powdered sugar
3 T. milk
Make cake batter according to package directions. Divide it evenly into 3 loaf pans or one 9x13 inch pan. Bake according to package directions. Freeze until ready to frost.
Make frosting: Cream butter & crisco. Add vanilla. Add one cup of sugar at a time mixing on medium speed. Add milk & beat on high until light and fluffy. Divide frosting and add icing colors of your choice.
Remove cake(s) from freezer. Cut corners off to make into a surfboard shape. Decorate with whatever surfboard design you wish.
