Stand up horse cake
- RECIPE INGREDIENTS:

- Cake mixes
- butercream icing - chocolate, green and black
- fondant
- covered cake boards (under sheet cake and under horse body)
- plastic dowels (horses legs)
Using a 3-d duck pan, bake the cake according to directions (using a firm cake mix, i.e. yellow, white or pound cake work best) bake a sheet cake according to directions (for base) Place the duck cake on a covered cake board that has been cut to fit the bottom and cover the "duck/horses body" with chocolate buttercream using a star tip Cover the sheet cake with green buttercream icing and place the plastic dowel rods under the duck/horse body's cake board and press into sheet cake (add a dab of glue to the dowels under the cake board to help steady) cover the plastic dowels in chocolate buttercream icing and fill in the bottom so that the icing on the horses body hides the cake board under the body cut fondant pieces for face and saddle, press into icing Add black facial features and hair on horse - also add some green buttercream "grass" in patches
