Take a walk on the wild side with this Moose cake. It combines a cut-out 9x13 and cupcakes for the antlers.
1 Box Chocolate cake mix
1 Box French Vanilla cake mix
One can Chocolate icing
One can vanilla icing
Following the package directions, prepare and bake the chocolate cake in a 9x13. Remove from pan and let cool.
Following the package directions, prepare and bake the French Vanilla cake in 24 cupcake pan. Let cool.
When cool, cut the chocolate cake into the Moose head. Ice with the chocolate icing. Tint the vanilla icing with a light brown gel color. Place the cupcakes in the shape of antlers, and ice with a large star tip in a swirlie pattern. I used 7 cupcakes per antler. Use the chocolate drizzler to outline the moose and make his eyes.
