Great Cake Contest

A look-a-like doll of my 4 year old, Maya.

RECIPE INGREDIENTS:

• Homemade vanilla cake with a zest of orange and color tinted vanilla icing.

1. Make two 8" round cakes (head,pigtails and feet) and one 9X12" rectangular pan for the arms and body (dress)

2. Pigtails and feet: Carve out the semi-circles from one circlular pan. Head: one full 8" circle. Body/Dress: cut triangular shape from the 9X12" pan. Arms: carve out two curved triangles from 9X12" pan. Assemble pieces as shown in pic and shape if necessary.

3. Color tint white icing. Wilton white cream icing is good-doesn't melt. Ice each shaped piece accordingly and assmble with toothpicks. Decorate polkadots with Skittles (best for color) and use pre-made letters for wording.
