Chocolate Football Cake with personalized Jersey & Helmet party favors

RECIPE INGREDIENTS:

• 1 box cake mix
• 1-2 containers chocolate frosting
• 1 container white frosting
• sugar cookies
• royal icing

1. Bake cake in Football shaped cake pan (Wilton). Once cool, frost with chocolate icing and pipe white icing for the stitching and your child's name, if desired.

2. Roll out sugar cookie dough and cut out stars as decoration for around the cake. Frost with white royal icing. If you'd like to also make party favors to match the cake theme...
   Roll sugar cookie dough and use a ginger bread girl cookie cutter, but cut off the hands, head and bottom of skirt. Also cut out helmets, using helmet cookie cutter.

3. Once cool, color the royal icing to your team's colors and apply to cookies. Let dry for 20 minutes. Then pipe names and numbers or team logo onto cookies. Let dry for a few hours before putting into goodies bags.
