Great Cake Contest

My son loves Doughnuts, so for his 2nd Birthday we had a doughnut party!

RECIPE INGREDIENTS:

• Favorite Cake Mix
• 2 cans vanilla frosting
• red food coloring
• brown food coloring
• sprinkles

1. Prepare cake mix and bake in two 9 inch cake pans as directed. Cool cakes completely.

2. Cut a hole in the center of each cake. Sculpt edges and center of cake with a serrated knife to make it look more "rounded."

3. Tint 1-1/2 cans of frosting brown. Tint remaining frosting w/just enough red to make it pink.

4. Frost entire cake with brown frosting. Frost just the top of cake with the pink frosting, making it look like a frosted doughnut. Then add sprinkles.
