This cake is a cookie monster sitting on a chocolate chip cookie: Pans used: 10" round pan and 3D teddy Bear

  • Royal icing in black, buttercream dyed in Blue, Brown and Dark Brown
  • Cake mix of choice
  1. Make two semicircles of black royal icing and allow to dry for a couple of days. When dry, make the cakes in various flavors to allow for Variety. Frost the round cake in light brown and add darker brown dots to look like a chocolate chip cookie.

  2. On the teddy bear pan, cut off the ears and make a cut out for the mouth. Place the teddy bear pan on cardboard to support it, frost the feet smooth with the blue icing and build up the arms for the cookie monster, then use the tip 233 or 234 to make hairlike streaks starting at the bottom of the teddy bear moving upward until after you start the mouth, place the royal icing pieces into the cutouts holding them with frosting

  3. Place eyeballs on top of cake and put a black dot, finish if desired by putting a cookie into the "hands" of cookie monster and add more blue icing over cookie. If you choose to, you can sprinkle blue sparkle dust over the cookie monster cake.
