Chocolate cake with colored frosting, cookie crumb beach, and embellished with hula girl and flowers.
- RECIPE INGREDIENTS:

- 1 Chocolate Box Cake mix prepared as directed.
- 1 container vanilla frosting
- blue food dye
- Butterfinger Stix for palm tree trunk
- Green fruit roll cut into leaves
- gummy fish
- 1/4 c. Nilla Wafer crumbs
- Small doll decorated as hula girl
- one plastic flower lei, cut apart
- cake board or covered sheet pan
- blue tablecloth
- Blue decorator gel
Bake cake in 9x13 pan as directed. Cool and invert onto cake board or sheet pan covered in blue plastic. Frost with one container of vanilla frosting colored blue. Leave some of the frosting white and will swirl together on cake creating a 'wave' look. Press cookie crumbs into one corner of cake to create the island. Place Butterfinger Stix candy tree on island. Attach fruit roll leaves with toothpicks and a bit of frosting for glue. Embellish waves with gummy fish and add flowers around edges of cake. Remember to add your hula girl and may use blue cake gel to write birthday wishes.
