To provide encouragement and financial wisdom yes- to help financially where they can yes- to go into debt or give up your retirement no.

No. Assist and prepare, but the kids pay.

Absolutely, it is a parent's job to help prepare a child for the future and without a college education these days, there's not much of a future.

Well, considering so many families can barely make it month to month, I don't see how they can. If you can afford it awesome, if not, then it should be provided so we can perpetuate a more educated generation.
