I grew up watching TV, then again I'm on the computer alot now...I'm sure it's fine.

There are several channels on cable made for babies. My daugther grow up with SPROUT and other baby channels. She also had DVDs too!!!

As long as it is child friendly. I mean we all grew up with TV back in the 70's & 80's (goodness I am old);and we are still normal...enough.

Love the Baby Einstein dvd's and those 4 colorful critters that don't talk, i can't stand them, but my friend's 2 year old loves them. Must be " BABY" appropriate TV.

I think it would depend on if it was educational or not. If it is just to sit them there than no, but if it is educational like on NATGeo than possibly as long as it is also...

We have this channel on dishnet called Babys First TV and it is wonderful for them i think!

as long as it is age appropriate and in small doses not used to babysit! My children both learned a lot from watching baby einstein movies, Blues Clues, Dora etc.

No! Duh! Not until at least age 2 and even then in very small doses! It promotes attention disorders, obesity and less interaction from parents and other caregivers. Interacting...
