It depends on the child & how much struggling happed to get the good grades. Book smarts certainly come easier to some than others!

I don't think it's bad idea...i do think kids should be rewarded for doing great in school. it gives them an incentive and makes them work harder, besides the longer they continue to do so well eventually they could...
