I just finished an afghan for my hubby tonight! He is over 6' and needed a blanket to fit him. I made it with Lion Brand Homespun yarn in two different blue colors, I don't know if you can see in the picture, but I graduated the color from dark to medium to light and back to dark. This was a simple afghan done with a Q hook and the whole project is single crocheted. I thought it would take forever, but with the larger hook it went quite quickly. He is really happy with his new blanket!

This is another afghan I made last year, it is a giant granny square! It was a Vanna pattern from Lion Brand. It is the perfect size for a lap-ghan to warm your legs and tootsies when you are watching T.V.

Oh! These are some wonderful Afghans here! I used to crochet a lot for project Linus! Haven't in a few years though....
I got so caught up in lace knitting..... :D
I am working on a KAL I am going to start in July, so the pattern has to be written and charts made and tested and and and...
But sadly no pics yet... only of the gauge swatch! LOL

I am now looking through patterns to make a Christmas stocking for the dog. I have not found one that I like and so I might just take graph paper and make up my own design to put on a basic stocking pattern.
