I will look through my patterns for an easy sock pattern for you. What weight of yarn did you pick up?
I found some really cool cotton yarn at my local knittting store. Now I'm ready to try my hand at socks, does anyone have an easy pattern for a first timer?
psychokitty5238, what kind of yarn do you like to use for knitting socks?
I like complicated patterns, lace, cables. It's been so hot here that I've been knitting socks. I started using circular needles when my now 17 year old was two. She used to play with my needles, and some of them I never did find. I found that if your needles were connected you can't lose one.
Oooh, I love cables... I love to do lace too, but with a toddler I have a hard time sitting and being able to concentrate on which row I was on. :) I usually mess up and wait until he's in bed to try anything more than a mindless pattern. So, hence and theretofore, I have a ton of washcloths! :)
