Oh and to add insult to injury the check cleared already! She just wanted the money asap! I went on Ebay and found what I wanted with free shipping at a great price!

Exactly. I don't think she understood that she isn't needed when you have a computer on hand. You can find everything you need with a click of the mouse these days.

I would agree that she made a giant mistake. Especially since you can get the same discounts and products she is selling online at Avon.com . I gave up with mine when she wouldn't stop hounding me while I was working. I understand she has to make money too but good business sense would be not to anger the client.

Well today my Avon lady would not take I am busy and to come back later .. she got snippy with me when I said I am swamped come back after 12. Finally I said fine, come now, I handed her the check and shut the door. If she could not respect my work, I will no longer deal with her! People just don't understand that just because I am home does not mean I am watching soaps and eating bonbons! That woman made a fatal busieness error!

Always the kids, but when I'm actually alone, it's other clutter around me. I am trying to keep my desk space neat, but I get distracted seeing the other "to do's" I have laying around. I've been taking my work out to the library or elsewhere just to get away from distractions lately.

I do the same thing, I find a little change of scenery helps things seem not so monotonous and keeps me on track.

I know I wish there was a setting for that without taking all the other FWDs out of there too.

If someone sends me more than one of those I send them a thanks but no thanks email, asking them not to send me anymore of those. If they send it again I put them on my junk filter so I don't receive any more of those.
