What are the pros and cons to being a WAHM?
FamilyHost_Alisa - October 05, 2009
Being a WAHM is something special....lots of working moms would love to be able to work from home. But we all know its not perfect. What are the pros and cons to your situation?

The pros way out do the cons ... being able to stay home with sick kids is definitely a pro! The messy house that surrounds me is a con. The commute is great and so is the wardrobe!

I think working in your pajamas can be both a pro and a con. Most days, I'm comfortable and happy wearing whatever--no stress. Inevitably, though, something happens and I find that I have to run out into public looking awful. I'm trying to do better...

One of my cons is constant eating. The desk is too close to the kitchen! I don't remember snacking all day when I was at an office job.

One of the pros is being home to take care of repairs/deliveries/etc. and it makes it easier to deal with kids' doctor and dentist appts. The schedule is so flexible, and that part is great.
