Disney Birthdays
FamilyHost_Kristina - January 13, 2009
There are so many things to do when it is your birthday. When going to the park the options become almost endless. Disney now has a free entry on your birthday if you register through 2009 http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/disneyparks/en_US/WhatWillYouCelebrate/disneyland/index?name=CelebrationsDLRFreeOnYourBirthdayPage

For our daughter's birthdays when at the park we went and did the birthday party with Pat E. Cake and got to decorate our own cakes and take pictures with Mickey and Minnie. http://disneyland.disney.go.com/disneyland/fr_CA/moreMagic/specialOccasions/detail?name=BirthdaysDetailPage It is at the Plaza Inn inside the park. The girls loved it and it has become our tradition now to take them there when we go.

I posted a picture of my youngest getting ready to go in for her party, she had such a great time! What has been your thing to do on your birthday while at the park?

We just celebrated my daughter's Sweet 16 at DL in May and had an amazing time. Since we got passes for the first time, she got the gift card and paid for her and her friends to make bracelets on Main Street which was a nice gift for all of them to share. I plan to go to celebrate my own birthday at the end of June :)

Sorry spoonful_sugar but the santa anas are still kickin hard here..but on the up side it is warm here and it's always a good excuse to buy a new hat at Disneyland! LOL...

Oh like you need a reason to buy a new hat when at DL. But yeah the Santa Ana winds have been bad these last week and a half.

Thank you for the b-day wish. If the Santa ana winds die down I'll be a very happy girl. What are the mice chatters? Tell me more when you have a chance. Drop me a line in my message profile. Thanks!

That is so great that you are doing a big family thing for his homecoming. I know the time will fly and seems so short but he is doing such a great service and we appreciate it. That being said I know how hard the waiting is, did that for four long years but it always made him coming home that much more special, and I have never taken him for granted! Enjoy the time together and take lots of pictures they help when you just need a happy moment to smile at. And as casandram27 said, thank him for us!

Going next month on the 10th for mine...and then again on the 22nd for 3 days to celebrate my husbands homecoming he will be home for 4 wks. and we haven't seen him since the beginning of Aug. got to make the 4wks. count..wishing we had more but such is life! That Disney Salute to military families will come in handy for us..taking nana and papa with us for that one so we get a chance to ride the "big kid" rides..
