The first time we ever went to WDW it was during the flower show thing at Epcot. It was really cool seeing all the extra-beautiful things they did in that regard. Some were mind-blowing.

Another time we went specifically during Christmas and we splurged on the special Christmas evening at MK. This time of year is literally amazing. I think it might be fun to also experience the fall/halloween thing, but if I had a choice, I'd go back during December in a heartbeat. We researched when to go and we were at WDW the first week of December and got the benefit of everything without huge crowds!

We head to disney when the temps drop. We have been the week before thanksgiving and they had up all the christmas decorations then. We were just there in December and went to the Mickeys Very Merry Christmas party which was alot of fun. But as far as crowds go Nov. was the least crowded hands down! We are going back in Oct. this year and I just got tickets to Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party. I hope the crowds are lighter than in Dec. If you have any good tips for Oct events I'd love to hear them!

We attended MNSSHP last year. The night we went the tickets were completely sold out but even then the crowd didn't seem too bad. A couple of tips...The face painting artists are amazing (& it's free)! Do this first. Although the artists work very quickly the line gets pretty long relatively quickly. You can begin to line up for this before the party begins - around 6:45 pm would be good. Also, the best part of MNSSHP is the Boo-to-You Parade. We grabbed our piece of pavement about a half-hour beforehand in front of Splash Mountain. After the parade went by we were able to ride Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain with no wait.

Last year, we went during Epcot's Food and Wine Festival and though we are not ones to drink alcohol while we are vacationing with our children, the new markets and food places were great. There were tons of activities for Micah to do while we were there which made epcot even more fun. This year, we'll be there over Thanksgiving, so we'll see what excitement awaits.

The last time I was at Disneyworld was 1976. Has it changed any? :) I do remember that I enjoyed it a great deal, and that I felt it was a better park than the Disneyland complex in CA. I'd love to go and check them both out again!

We got seasonal passes because I can't stand going in the summer, too hot and crowded, so it is no big deal to deal with the blackout time. I love going when it it cooler also. We are going to MNSSHP too this year in a couple weeks for the first time. Had NO clue about the face painting! Thanks for the tip, we will be sure to do that. Also we go during the holidays every year we can, there is nothing more magical than the WDW parks for the holidays.

Star Wars Weekends!! Yes, its HOT and stikcy, but it is FUN. Anyone who loves Star Wars has to see this, and if your kids are into Star Wars, oh my! This past summer it was every weekend in June at Hollywood Studios. Just Tremendous! I could go on forever, but I won't!
