One thing that I suggest to people traveling to the World for the first time is don't over plan. Don't go with the expectation of seeing all of the characters and getting on all of the rides. Plan on seeing a few of the characters and a couple of rides. Anything above this is an added bonus. Also, if you can take in a couple of breaks for naps and/or people watching it gives you a chance to relax and de-compress. In other words, try to see the World through your child's eyes, not yours. If you do this, you will have much happier memories and it will truly be the "Happiest place on Earth".

I completely agree...you need to plan lots of extra time for little ones (for naps, eating, etc.) I took my son for the first time when he was around 8 months old. We spent most of that time walking around and seeing characters while my husband was at his conferences...this was it was nice and easy for my son. We just recently got back from our son's second trip (this time he was 19 months) and we definitely had to take our breaks for eating, naps and just getting away from all the excitement. I made the mistake of trying to plan a few extra things thinking that since our son was older that he'd be ok, but that wasn't always the case...but all-in-all we had such a great time watching his reactions to all the rides we rode and characters he met!! It was wonderful, and we can't wait to take him back!
