My daughter has been pulling her hair out since she was 10 months old. She is now 3 1/2. I have cut her hair off twice. She stops for 6 months while it grows back in and starts in again. Anyone out there ever experienced this? Any advice? I have researched this beyond belief and I'm finding it's just not that common.

i would keep her hair cut off and let her forget about this bad habit!

i just watched a show about a girl that had this condition- there is a big name for it. it was considered an OCD issue. she was so miserable and had to wear wigs. her therapy was not successful because she was in her 20's and had been doing it since she was little- i guess it was like blinking to her it was such a habit.
