Pet Peeves
FamilyHost_Jen - May 14, 2009
We all have our family pet peeves ... mine are things like projects that get started and never finished (we won't name anyone in particular). Or the kids leaving a trail of toys and clothes in their wake! Lately I find the kids will turn on the tv downstairs and I will come in to see a cartoon and no one watching it because they are out on the swings. Are there any pet peeves you care to share with us?

I have cups and bowls left everywhere ... as a matter of fact I gathered up the empty bowls yesterday afternoon! and ErinL32, I have that same ghost who takes the bread ties! If I had to guess, it's the big ghost!

Oh I KNOW, it's the big ghost, but he want admit it. Even when it's a brand new loaf of bread and he's the first one to use it. Hmmm. how did the twist tie disappear, I wonder??

I would love to know what's so difficult about putting dishes in the dishwasher. It's that shiny white square, right next to the sink. You've managed to retrieve your dirty dish and/or cup, walk it into the kitchen, and place it in the silver sink. Is your back so damaged that you cannot bend slightly to the right and place the object in the white door?

OH NO!! That's WAY to much back/arm exercise for some people! LOL. I totally agree. If you can walk all the way to the kitchen to put the dish or cup in the sink, how hard is it to place in the dishwasher?! But in my house...heck just rinsing it off would be a plus.

Oh can I relate to that Helen-NotofTroy ... this moring for example, I woke up to a sink full of dishes. It only took me a few minutes to put them in the dishwasher! I don't think we are asking too much!

Well the big ghost needs to be reminded the bread is better when it does not dry out from a missing tie!

Ok want to hear a confession? I HATE BREAD TIES!!!!! I don't know why, but I throw them out!!! If a loaf of bread lasts 2 days in my house it's a record. I think it stems from when the kids make sandwiches they always need help undoing the ties (the small ones that is). In the warm weather I keep the bread in the fridge, otherwise it turns green quickly. In the winter, it just sits on the counter. Believe it or not, the kids, all 4, are very good about folding the bag under the loaf....now hubby and MIL....well, let's just say.......not in their capabilities.....

He ferrari-johnson, I always find a ton of the bread ties at the bottom of the bread box. You know, ziploc bread bags would solve it all!
