How do you deal when a teenager ask you if you canl et him/her get piercings?

Well I amnot from PR but I thought I would reply anyway. There are a few things in question before making such an important decision. How old is the teen? HOw mature do you think the teen is? What are the grades like? Responsibility? and especially WHERE is the piercing going to be.
I think piercings are all about individual preference but at the same time placement is key becasue a teen of today will be an adult of tommorow and certain piercing may hinder them from getting into school or jobs.
Not acceptable?
