I have a kinda different situation. I am the one with kids, my fiancee does't. He and I sometimes butt heads on raising my kids and their natural father is out of the picture cause he choses his GF over kids. This makes it harder on my kids cause they were always more loyal to their father than me.

I hear ya. I have kids, my husband has kids. It's hard to not be the biological parent of all of them. Being a parent is hard. Being a step-parent is much harder.

I just want to say that it has taken me 3 years to finally get used to being a parent. My husband has a crazy ex and I have a really hard time dealing with it sometimes and I feel like I have no one to talk to.
