I belong to a paperback book swap.
california_katharine - October 07, 2008
A few months ago I joined a paper back book swap. I've been able to send books to other members for 2-3 and I get books back. I've gotten quite a few books back and ones I have never seen in the store but look good. Their url is: www.paperbackswap.com.

I was just thinking. Wouldn't it be great if there was halloween swap? This year we're lucky cause my neighbor has the costume my daughter wants. My daughter wants the little red riding hood preteen costume but she is not going to wear the "hood" and instead dress up as a scary doll. What happened to my little Cinderella?

A Halloween swap would be great! It is so hard to find certain costumes and being able to post ones you have already used would help others who are looking too! That is such a great suggestion.

I agree with shadowkris03 - what a great idea! It might be too late to set up something like this for this year, but it's certainly something to think about in the future. Reduce, reuse and recycle - it makes perfect sense!

Exactly, I think it is a great idea and hope that someone actually does this one day.

I just had a thought - you might be able to find future costumes by going to your local Freecycle.org chapter. They're all over the place. If you go to the site, you can join your local chapter and put out a request for costumes. You can also offer costumes. It's all free.
