Fall Yard Sales
FamilyHost_Annabelle - September 21, 2009
We've been cleaning out closets in anticipation of our huge neighborhood yard sale in a couple of weeks. Now that the house is semi-decluttered, someone else's "future treasures" sit in an inconspicuous blanket-draped pile in the corner of the dining room, hidden behind a rocking chair. I have a running list of inventory and have priced items with dot stickers. In a couple of weeks we'll set up the tables and make some money! My goal is to make enough money to pay for a new kitchen counter. Keep your fingers crossed!

Have you ever had a yard sale? If so, tell us about it. If you haven't, will you start scouring your home for things you never use and have a yard sale this fall? Tell us all about it!

Thank you, Jen :) We didn't have the yard sale today - it's pouring buckets outside so it will have to wait. Hubby just looked at the pile of stuff in the room, then looked out the window, shook his head and said, "Well, at least it's not snowing!" LOL - he's the eternal optimist. :)

Our big community sale was today, but I couldn't participate. My son is really sick and I couldn't pull things together. I ended up taking him to the doctor instead. Maybe I can do it on my own another weekend, but it really is better to have all the extra traffic from a big sale.
