If you normally claim zero on your W-4, and you're sure enough taxes have been withheld so you won't have to pay in April, change your W-4 to your maximum number of deductions. It means extra cash each week. Then, in January, change it back to zero. It's your money. Use it now!

Today, turkeys are 39 cents per pound at many stores, wtih no strings attached. I remembered this offer from last year and made room in the freezer. Can you imagine paying $8.00 for a 20 lb turkey that will yield 35-40 servings of meat as well as a big pot of turkey soup? You can't beat the price!

To get out of debt:

1- Start a "money-diet" budget and stick to it!
2- No more credit cards - debit only
3- Take a $10 allowance each week and limit yourself to spending ONLY that amount on "wants"
4- Have 10% of your net pay deducted each week to pay off credit card debt
5- No excuses!
