I have seen these at various hardware stores but I'm not sure how they woul dlook on a home. Does anyone have any experience with these? Any pictures of your home lit up with the new LED lights? I read that Kmart has these for $5.99 a set right now. Lowes had them for $8 when Iw as there over the weekend. Home Depot offered $3 off a $9.99 pakage if you brought in your old lights for an exchange. Not acceptable?
Everyone has the right to be stupid, some people just abuse that right.
I got some on sale BEFORE Christmas from Brookstone. They had them marked down to $4.99 for a string of 70 lights 2 weeks before Christmas, so I snatched 3 of them up. After Christmas I was able to get to strings of solar powered LED Icicle lights from Target to use outside next year. I think they were down to $9.99 each.

That's awesome! Solar is even better since it won't cost your power bill anything! Not acceptable?

Did anyone get good deals on LEDs in after-Christmas sales? I couldn't find ANY on sale, but I did find a lot of the old-school lights on clearance.

I did get the regular bulb ones for a strong of 60 for $1.75 and the 9CL one for outside for $2.50 a box. I think I got a pretty good deal :) Not acceptable?

Update: I just bought some LED lights on clearance. They did not have enough left to make it around the whole house but at least I got the majority of the lights :) Not acceptable?
Those are about the going prices right now for the LED lights. I was going to buy some more to have enough to trim the outside but I will wait and see if I can catch a few more boxes on clearance after Christmas like I did last year. Not acceptable?
i have led lights on my tree only. they are amazingly beautiful. they are brighter and twinkle more than the older style. the one drawback i have found is that when you are sitting down and looking at your tree you may have to turn a light upwards or downwards because if it is pointed directly at you it is quite bright. i will, as my other strands die out be replacing them with led lights. oh, and i have only been decorating in white lights in the windows and white and red on the tree. may put some extra strands of color up IN the kids room this year. they would love that. sorry, no pictures

Sounds beautiful! I only have red and green lights on my tree. I would really love to have a snow flake theme for outdoors. Maybe blue and white mixed, I think that would be beautiful! Not acceptable?
