Scrapping Disney Memories

Digital Scrapbookers??
haddenkr - June 21, 2009
Anyone else here a digital scrapbooker? Last summer my husband and I took our 2 oldest grandchildren to Disney World for the first time (hubby too!). I have been working on the scrapbook(s) for a year now and have gotten about half way through! 50 8x8 pages so far!

I love Print Shop for scrapbooking! i've tried some of the scrapbooking programs and they just aren't as versatile. I still print everything on 8.5x11, cheaper that way! I love being able to send whole pages to freinds. I enjoy looking through all the online clipart to add to pages. I also try to put a hidden Mickey on each of my Disney pages too, the kids love that!
Good luck on the next 50 pages!!!!

I am hooked on digital scrapbooking! I use Storybook Creator2 by Creative Memories. I love the ease and flexibility of the software and cost is great too! I've used many other software for photoshops and nothing compares.

I can easily finish 100 pgs within a couple of days, best way to do this however is to stay updated and do a page (or two) as soon as the event is over. That way you are still excited about the photos, and can easily remember small details for journaling.

I've also used the software to share photos with my daughters classroom and the teacher and parents love it. They think I am the most creative person... if only they knew how easy it is! But I'll take the credit... the end results are fabulous!

I have an older version of te program (version 9). I found one on eBay that says it is new. Here is the link:

http://cgi.ebay.com/JASC-Paint-Shop-Pro-9-Animation-Shop-3-NEW_W0QQitemZ180375745525QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_Software?hash=item29ff3b73f5&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=65%3A12%7C66%3A2%7C39%3A1%7C72%3A1234%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50

Don't know too much about the newer version. Good luck!

I agree it is better to get the pages done right away. I have to get motivated again to finish the rest of them now and remember those small details! I have found that when I do a large number of pages I start feeling like the pages are starting to look a lot alike (I guess since there are only so many ways to do an 8x8 page!! LOL!

I am not familiar with Storybook Creator. Can you post some of your pages? I would LOVE to see them!

((Hugs))

Karen
