One of the great joys of marriage is being able to share the same space with your significant other. But, sometimes, you have very different ideas of what decorating means. Perhaps you have a vision of perfectly coordinated, Martha Stewart-worthy curtains and pillows, while he wonders what's wrong with covering the walls in sports pennants?

How do you balance your decorating tastes? Does your spouse ever want to have a say in the room? Share your pictures and words of wisdom here!

LOL! I agree. Some just can't help it I guess, no matter how hard you try.

You are so right! lol - My mom always told me, let him have his racing, that is better than him running to the nearest bar every night. I guess I can make a little room for his collection :)

Now, here comes the next picture with the Halo video game stuff. Please notice the soda bottles on the windowsill. One is Halo 3 and one is Punisher. I don't have curtains on THAT window so that he can put his toys on it. Note: this is all stuff he collects, it all goes unopened. I guess he will always be a kid at heart.

OK. I feel sooo much better knowing there is another wife out there that understands me. Well, at least we can say they are organized and neat. But hey, why can't they be that way with everything else?! (Actually your hubby's collection doesn't look that bad either)
