Wow! That's cool. I remember my one trip to San Francisco when the seals would sit on one of the docks - it was amazing to my East Coaster self.

We have such a variety of climates, scenery and locales in our country. The desert southwest is another place with very different kind of beauty. Very dry, little vegetation, but it can be gorgeous at times. I really love the ocean/water, and the water fowl are fun to watch, too!

That picture reminds me of the movie "The Pelican Brief" with Denzel Washington and Julia Roberts. Awesome flick!
