FamilyHost_Tom - November 18, 2008
From Disneyland in California to DisneyWorld in Florida, America has some great Amusement Parks. Where have you been and what attractions were the most fun for you and your family. For help in planning trips across America, see http://family.go.com/travel/

I assume that the Hershey Corporation sponsored the Park. Besides the standard rides, are there any events or attractions that are unusual?

Really? I know that when they showed a resturant they topped dinner with drizzled chocolate and they showed some spa treatment with coco.

its actually located in hershey pa, the entire town is made up of chocolate things like the lights are chocolate kisses..cute..they have the chocolate tour of how its made and of course as you drive through to get to the park all around are the dairy farms..so quaint..but the park is huge and the rides and attractions are bigger & better every year as with most parks, they have both coasters & water rides but also they have concerts, a zoo and of course chocolate world..sorry for sounding like a commercial..

We really want to go to Hershey Park. I saw it on the Travel Channel. It looks like it would be fun.

Here in Oregon we have Oaks Park. It's like a permanent carnival or fair. We had fun. Most of the ride spun so we had to take our time riding things. They do have one roller coaster that isn't much, but it's fun.

I have to confess that I don't do Roller Coasters anymore. In fact, my favorite "ride" at these places is the bumper cars. I can REALLY enjoy smashing into others. :)

So, where is the very best Roller Coaster you've ever ridden? I think Six Flags over Texas has one called the BackFlash. After completing a cycle forwards, it reverses itself and does it backwards. There is nothing like doing a loop backwards!

I've been to the Six Flags parks in St. Louis and Dallas, and enjoyed the various shows. I like music and A/C so those venues always were attractive. :)
