For the most part, we just focus on getting to the destination. Every now and then we'll stop if we know there's something particularly interesting coming up.
I remember when I was little and we'd take road trips to visit family in the Midwest, we'd stop at a restaurant called Rax. From what I remember, it was sort of a dressed-up Wendy's. But the big thing was that it had a giant all-you-can eat salad bar. My parents would stop there just because it would give us some free time to roam around and try all the different things on the bar.
Not acceptable?
