I love a fig and spring mix... I chop the figs and place them in 1 1/2 tbls balsamic vinger, 1 tbls olive oil, 2 tbls chopped shallots, pour over the spring mix lettuce and grate fresh parmesan! Now if my fig tree would just get me some fresh figs!! Not acceptable?
I agree, that sounds delicious. I'd love to hear more!

The candied walnuts are with either your baking products or with all the other packaged nuts in your local grocery store. The dried cranberries are in with the raisins and other dried fruit, but can be usually found in the salad and produce section. Now for the zing....the vinaigrette. That is 2 parts canola oil and 1 part champagne vinegar. You can also use apple cider which is just as good. Salt for taste and shake in sealed container. You can make as much as you want and just toss it over the salad and serve. Not acceptable?

and so I add this to my grocery list.... yum!! Not acceptable?
Tried and true, a spinach salad with candied pecans, cranberries, and a raspberry vinaigrette. I take fresh spinach, add some raspberry vinaigrette, then crush some candied pecans with a mortar and pestle so it's a mix of powder and large chunks (I don't use whole pecans because it tends to be difficult to get them on your fork, but crushed, they stick to the dressing), then sprinkle in some dried cranberries and toss. Not acceptable?
