Gingerbread Houses and Cookies
FamilyHost_Jen - December 09, 2008
It's that time of year and my kids have been bugging me to make a gingerbread house! This year FamilyFun.com is having a gingerbread and cookie photo upload contest! What a great incentive to get you baking! http://family.go.com/gingerbread-cookie-recipes-contest/
I am looking forward to seeing all your great creations!

I would love to enter except my houses never end up all in one piece. I have a bad habit of eating them as I build lol which makes for a very shaky foundation! I look forward to seeing all the ones everyone else comes up with who can make it all the way without eating theirs :)

We've never made a gingerbread house and my kids have been bugging me to do one. We always do a Halloween Gingerbread Spook house, I don't know why we've never done one at Christmas-I'm gonna change that this year-I'll let y'all know how it turns out!!!

jessangelique I can't wait to see it. I went to get a kit yesterday and what I do is buy extra candies. I could not find one and my kids are going to be so disappointed. I will keep looking!

The spice drops don't even make it on the house ever. I love them always have since I was a kid so I need to find a new decoration for my 3 walled no roof house!
