  Nothing beats fresh, warm, homemade applesauce on a hot biscuit. It is sooooooo easy too. Just peel and slice Granny Smith apples (makes a nice tangy sauce) and cover in sugar. Cook over medium heat in saucepan until apples cook down. You can use whatever apples you like. Some cook down easier than others, and some are sweeter than others. I like a lot of sugar, but you can adjust that also to your taste. Make a bunch! Trust me, everyone will want seconds. Good on pancakes too!

Yummy, that sounds so good... I like to use brown sugar and cinnamon in my applesauce! And what makes it best... we pick our own apples!
