Scrapbooking Help Please
FamilyHost_Cheryl - November 20, 2008
What's the best way to attach the photos to the scrapbooking paper? Should I use corners or special glue or what? I have some really cute soccer paper, and stickers and a saying about soccer and so I now need to know what's best for attaching it all. Thanks for any and all suggestions for this scrapping newbie.

I've never really tried scrapbooking, so I'm not sure which kind of glue and materials to use. Sorry!

Cheryl, Sorry, I've been having trouble getting onto the site all week!! They make what we call tape runners, sold at hobby stores or the double stick tape (yellow box) is also acid free) The tape runners can be refilled and they work like the white out "runners". That is my first choice.
I only use photo corners for special profesional photos that are considered non reproducable. However, I find photo corners take to much time!

The photo runners will dispense little squares onto your photos and they also make a repositionable tape that will set hours after you have done your page, so if you put the picture on and then decide while working on the page you want to move it you can!

If you go to a scrapbooking store and ask the salespeople for the adhesives they can show you. Hope this helps. Just make sure whatever brand you purchase says acid free and preferably Lignin free.

Thanks a bunch, Carriefunk. I love the idea of it being repositionable for a bit as I know I will not get my photos exactly where I want them on the first try. I've heard of acid free, but what is Lignin free?

Lignin free is most commonly found when referring to papers. It is a polamer that binds to cellouse fibers to strengthen cell walls of plants. Sometimes adhesives will say lignin free but not always. Stickers on occasion will say it too. Acid free is most important! Sorry, 13 yrs ago I sold Creative Memories!!
