The single open flower standing up is awesome. I really like this shot. Where did you take it?

Thank you Cheryl!! This was actually taken one week ago at Epcot at the China pavilion!!! The pond was just lovely! Here is a larger shot of the pond. We later had dinner at the Nine Dragons there!

Thank you very much for the comment. I think sometimes we are all just to busy to see the natural beauty all around us. Yes you should take your camera .. some of my best shots come when I least expect them! Agian thanks!

i always carry my camera around for that very reason. with my boys i never wanted to miss anything that they may have done and now that i have 3 small grandchildren i still feel that way but also the beauty in the world is so awesome that some things you just need to capture just then and i dont want to have to say 'oh i wish i had my camera!'

I love sunsets and interesting skies. I keep my camera in my glove compartment, but so often I forget its there. This morning I was driving to work; I pass through a wooded section, and the trees were like a canopy over the road. The light was streaming through, it was like being in a Cathedral. And I didn't think about getting a pic of it until i was at work.

Last Summer I was in Port Aransas, TX for a family vacation. Following dinner at a wharf, I took a picture of the sun going down behind the marina. I thought it turned out nice. water and light are always a fascinating combination

I'm not enough of a photo buff to know what I'm doing other than point and click. There was kind of an orange/golden hue to the whole setting that the camera didn't pick up. The photo was pretty, but the experience was even better as I remember it. :) Thanks, though!
