I really like the photos that my digital camera takes, but there are always things that could be better or make it easier for us to snap those photos. Finish this sentence: I want a camera that _________ .

Here's mine: I want a camera that comes with an easier to understand instruction booklet, has a "cheat sheet" wallet-sized card with basic instructions that I can throw in the small camera bag that goes with the camera, and comes with better photo editing software.

I've been a point and shoot photog. My next camera, I want one that has a telephoto lens. I'd like to experiment with shooting the moon, as well as playing around with perspectives and color contrast. Hmmm, I meant taking shots of the moon and perhaps even the stars.

I already have a digital SLR (a Canon 10D), which has seen me through many years of faithful service. I absolutely adore it! But my next big purchase (and I mean BIG) is the Canon 5D Mark II, which has a full-frame image sensor so that it gets as much light as a frame of 35mm film. That means that I can get wider angles in beautiful landscape shots or tight interior spaces.

Alas, since I no longer shoot professionally, I can't convince my husband or myself that the $2500 price tag is reasonable.
